I should have read the butter chicken recipe closer because I stirred in the chicken uncooked. I just covered and simmered for awhile and it seems fine. We didn't have to cook for the first month, which made life so much easier. One tip for freezing rice dishes is to actually put the rice on top of your stir fry in the container, the rice doesn't end up soaking up all the sauce and changing texture, also when reheating you can turn it out on the plate so the sauce is on top.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24912646.post-20295216968074509612008-04-02T19:28:00.000-04:002008-04-02T19:28:00.000-04:00Butter chicken looks fabulous! Husband loved it so much, he wants to put it in the rotation. This was exactly what we needed - both of us have been unwell and have been on a bland diet. One thing I like to do, if I am making something like lasagna or enchiladas, I will make a full recipe (instead of half, like I do for most meals) and make it in 2 dishes, having one to freeze for later. I'm already cooking, and this way I get 2 meals instead of 1!Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11741861711308777389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24912646.post-63712797326690022282008-03-31T02:22:00.000-04:002008-03-31T02:22:00.000-04:00oooh, i've had many of those days! the recipes loo...oooh, i've had many of those days! the recipes look great, and i'm bookmarking them for future reference :)kickpleathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06616267341650445312noreply@blogger.com
